Project Description
The rGo project is the result of two merged modules, Web Technologies 2 and Interaction Design - Object. The overarching task was to develop an app using data from an accelerometer (acceleration sensor) on an Arduino (microcontroller). While the use of the data was as much up to us as the app design, the app had to be based on the open source web framework and npm module Ionic, which is an extension of Angular. Since we (team of three) only received data in the lower acceleration field due to the physical nature of the Arduino, we decided, in consultation with the professors, to develop an app using the Arduino's gyro sensor that helps the user to check their workstation for optimal ergonomics and to impart ergonomic knowledge.
